Landscaping Project Manager Yorkshire
Picture this.
You've been in landscaping for your career, and worked for some great companies, but nowhere that you've really been able to make your mark.
Now, you join a business that is going from strength to strength, that in their first few years have already been involved in some major, well-known projects.
It's finally your time to have your opinion heard, is this newly created role.
You get to develop your career, as well as the business and the team around you.
What's the Role?
You've already done the hands on landscaping, you could do this with your eyes closed. Now, you're ready to take a slight step back and have overview of the bigger picture, whilst still having the chance to get your hands dirty when needed.
This role will see you supporting in all functions that the business offer, from design, to building to maintenance.
You'll be working closely with the founder to agree design specs, source material and create timelines.
You'll then be out on site, making sure the installation team have set plans, structure, and support they need to do the job, and do it well.
What Will I have done?
Ideally, you'll have substantial experience in the landscaping sector (hard landscaping, soft landscaping or both).
You might have a landscaping or horticultural qualification, but if not you'll have proven horticultural knowledge.
Proficiency in interpreting architectural plans and specifications is crucial, because you'll be the go to person when these projects are underway.
You'll be expected to build and sustain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring deliveries are managed and plans are in place for the team.
You'll be a proven people manager, as the role needs effective management of a team of landscapers.
Adept problem-solving and communication is key, as I'm sure you know these projects don't always go to plan!
