Job Description
- Conducting conflicts, AML and sanctions checks for New Clients and Lateral Hires.
- Conducting searches for PEPs and reporting on high risk matters to the Head of risk and compliance.
- Identifying, analysing, and resolving any potential conflicts of interest.
- Ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborating with team members to optimise client onboarding processes.
- Managing a portfolio of New Client matters.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of new procedures.
- Providing training to staff on conflict management.
- Reporting to senior management on conflict issues and resolutions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Lateral HireConflict & New Client Analyst should have:
- A solid educational background in law.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- An ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
