Lathes Machine Operators

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Lathes Machine Operators for one of our clients based in Mildenhall.

Main duties:

You will be required to operate a multi spindle cam lathe which will include loading the material, adjusting the machines and the processing of scrap material. You will also clean, weigh and pack the components. Respond to any faults and rectify. Maintain and lubricate equipment as necessary. Inspect the finished product, data and complete relevant paperwork. You must ensure your work area is kept clean and tidy at all times. Carry out testing and sorting of components. Any other duties as required.

Shift patterns:

Days: Wednesday to Saturday/Thursday to Saturday on rotation 6:00 till 18:00. Pay rate: GBP12.15, increasing to GBP13.85 after training

Nights: Wednesday to Saturday/Thursday to Saturday on rotation 18:00 till 06:00. Pay rate GBP12.15, increasing to GBP17.86 after training.

Full training will be provided for this assignment.

These positions could become permanent for the right candidates.
