SalaryWe are looking for a Laundry Attendant to operate the hotel’s laundry facility and to ensure there is an adequate supply of linen available to meet the demand. This position is for a 37.5-hour contracted role, over 5 days a week
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring good order and cleanliness in our facility. There is room for growth within the DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham-Gateway company as we are growing and looking for new people to join our team!
Responsibilities
Ensure the supply of linen and towels is sufficient to meet demand
- Receive dirty linen and separate linens by type
- Collecting laundry from drop points around the Hotel throughout the day for washing
- Stocking laundry trolleys
- Washing and drying terry
- Wash and dry laundry following proper procedures
- Report supply shortages or problems to management
- Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room
- Maintain stock levels, participate in monthly stock take
- Overseeing and unpacking laundry deliveries
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
You will work with the Housekeeping Management team to complete your training on-property. Previous experience preferred but not essential.
