Coast and Country Cottage are recruiting for our latest Laundry Operative covering a 12 month FTC be based at our Salcombe office!
- Paying a salary circa £21,000 per annum working 37.5 hours per week, covering Monday to Saturday, 9am-5.30pm -(Sat off on a rota basis).

With a keen eye for detail and a solid work ethic, you will hit the ground from day one, assisting with all aspects of laundering our linen, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and reporting any issues/faults with items. Using your skills in communication, organisation and task management, you will ensure all linen and towels are cleaned to a high standard and ready to go out to properties including sorting, washing, drying, ironing and packing all laundry ready for our guests arrival.
Reporting into Property Services Manager our newest Laundry Operative will become a key player within our Housekeeping team, responsible for:
- To ensure all linen and towels are cleaned to a high standard and ready to go out to properties including: sorting, washing, drying, ironing and packing all laundry.
- To ensure all linen and towels are maintained to a high standard and anything which does not meet our standards is replaced.
- Ensure the linen is delivered in a timely, safe manner, without holding up the cleaners or check in for guests.
- Managing stock levels and ensuring any additional items required are ordered in a timely manner to ensure all laundry requirements can be met at all times.
- Responsible for all linen supplies including our own, hire or any private linen.
- Build positive working relationships with all suppliers and colleagues.
- Responsible to adhering to vehicle operating procedures
