Lead Activity Technician

• Excellent rates of pay up to £28,159.95 per annum
• Permanent contract, full-time (42 hours), 5 days per week

Since 1957, we’ve enriched the lives ofmillions of young people by delivering inspirational learning through outdooradventure. We are searching for an incredible LEAD ACTIVITYTECHNICIAN to join our buzzing activity centre, Boreatton Park in Shrewsbury.

THEROLE
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, betweenyourself and your team you’ll ensure a safe environment and complaint equipmentfor colleagues to deliver high quality and fun outdoor activity experiences.  From ziplining and abseiling to kayaking andarchery, you’ll have all the technical know-how on best practice, base & equipmentstandards, maintenance requirements and safety procedures.

You will keep up to date and informed on thelatest safety standards and ‘how to do’ procedures on our activities. You’llalso be responsible for managing the day-to-day workload of your team, ensuringregular inspections and monitoring of the equipment is carried out safely andto a high standard, identifying maintenance requirements or providing advice,training and support to the Activity team to allow them to lead consistentlysafe and enjoyable sessions.

IS THIS YOU?
For this role we are seeking an individual withstrong knowledge of a variety of outdoor activities and equipment, and who hasexperience delivering high-quality guest experiences. Alongside team leadingexperience; overseeing individual’s day to day tasks, 1:1s and personaldevelopment.
