As the Lead Applications Engineer for our Subsea Projects & Services, you will focus on leading the execution of operations and drive collaborations between the different subsea products and systems in order to deliver quality services & products and services to our customers.

In this role, you will be representing our subsea project and services business as the Lead Applications Engineer and leading our teams of Subject Matter Experts within different subsea products & systems in making sure our service delivery meets our customer expectations.
As the Lead Applications Engineer, you will be also be responsible for:
- Leading the services delivery and operations teams to achieve excellence in technical support and engineering support to our customer.
- Being the senior point of contact for all technical and operational matters for the customer.
- Leading different product lines services delivery teams, Technical Managers, Engineers and the relevant SMEs in addressing issues risen during the execution of operations for the customer.
- Handling all technical escalations from the customer and leverage the relevant organization engineering infrastructure to address the issues, implement lessons learned, drive closure for technical investigations and implementation of preventive measures
- Considering a senior and seasoned practitioner. Works on complex technological solutions. Solving issues and developing new solutions require usage of methods and approaches with some precedence
- Presenting product / program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leaders (EB and SEB) across Baker Hughes.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related subject with experience in project execution across all stages and from design, installation and commissioning
- Have experience as a Senior Engineer of one of the major subsea product and system ranges preferably in XT Systems, Controls or Production Control Systems. Xmas trees etc
- Have experience of working collaboratively on large scale EPC subsea projects for a major operator
- Be able to Effectively interpret Design Requirements (Through Statements of Requirements) in order to ensure that Design Requirements are met
- Have proven ability to communicate with external stakeholders in order deliver solutions to our customers and lead the troubleshooting of issues in the field
- Have considerable experience working in a customer facing role where you are the main point of contact and have the ability to be agile and flexible to meet constant changing needs
