We're looking for experienced Business Analysts to join us in key roles across the organisation, taking the lead on highly complex pieces of work that will have big impact within ONS and beyond.
Post 1 sits in our Economic, Social & Environmental Group (ESEG), the area responsible for ensuring we are a trusted producer & publisher of UK economic statistics and continually improving our statistics. ESEG delivers key statistics supporting government decision-making & policy evaluation.
Post 2 sits in Digital Services & Technology (DST), working on our Statistical Production Platform - a cloud-native strategic platform to transform how we operate our economic surveys.
Post 3 also sits in DST, working on our Common ONS Repository for Data (CORD), a time series data processing system we use to produce Economical statistics for England and Wales, Critical factors, GDP, Inflation, Prices, the Labour Market, Trade and also used to produce the Government National Accounts.
As an experienced Business Analyst, you're an expert in business modelling and influencing senior stakeholders, and you're used to collaborating with a wide range of business areas while working on large, high complexity projects. You're happy analysing services and processes to identify possible optimisations and can lead requirements capture.
