As Lead Buyer for this renowned specialist and leading supplier to a broad range of industry sectors, you will be instrumental in leading and developing the purchasing activities, with focus on value engineering and value analysis, technical and engineering improvements, and effective supplier management.

Lead Buyer Responsibilities
- New Production Introduction in collaboration with commercial and engineering teams.
- Cost engineering of both new and existing parts and regular cost reviews.
- Lead VE/VA projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage the MRP function.
- Supplier development, base management and purchasing strategy.
Lead Buyer Skills & Experience Required
- CIPS Level 4 diploma considered essential.
- Experience in managing supply chains with a track record of successful strategy implementation.
- Technical expertise with attention to engineering and commercial detail.
- Strong communication skills including negotiation, and comfortable in supplier relations.
- Thorough experience in new production introduction with knowledge of procurement procedures.
