Lead Buyer & Procurement Analyst (Indirect)
The Business:
A leading transport provider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Categories of focus - FM/HR as well as some other ad-hoc indirects
- A 60:40 split between running end to end Procurement projects and then spend analytics, reporting and recommendations to the business
- You will lead on procurement analytics including the likes of dashboards, Power BI, reporting etc.
- Key role in nurturing stakeholder relationships to a senior level, taking them on the Procurement journey
- Ensure procurement execution is delivered efficiently and in line with group wide policy
- Drive savings and wider value-add
Key Experience:
- Data Analytics - a depth of experience with the likes of pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, marcros, Power BI etc.
- Experience of the end to end Procurement process is a good to have but not essential - a good understanding of this from CIPS, supporting, or otherwise would be key otherwise
- Any category experience within HR/FM or if not indirect services
- Commercial minded with a good ability to build relationships
