Lead Cloud Engineer - Aws

• Must hold SC clearance
• Globally leading defence / cyber security company
• Up to £85k DoE - plus benefits and bonuses
• Cheltenham location – 2/3 days on site p/week on site
• Experience in AWS, Linux/Windows systems, automation tools, stakeholder engagement

WHO ARE WE?

We are recruiting a Lead Cloud Engineer to work with a multi-national, industry-leading cyber security/defence company in Cheltenham. Our teams are what drive us forward in our mission to make the UK as safe as possible. Therefore, we are looking for the best talent to join the team. Due to the nature of our clients, you must be eligible for security clearance to SC level.

WHAT WILL THE LEAD CLOUD ENGINEER BE DOING?

In the role you’ll be working with stakeholders to design and build AWS and hybrid-cloud solutions, administering Linux and Windows systems, designing and troubleshooting IP networking systems, and automating system deployment and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to further develop your skillset through training and certifications, all whilst working on exciting projects at the forefront of the sector

WE NEED THE LEAD AWS CLOUD SOLUTIONS ENGINEER TO HAVE….

• Must hold SC clearance to start
• Must be eligible for DV Clearance
• Willing to be on site 2/3 days per week and on site when required.

Experience in the following:

• Designing, deploying, and administrating AWS cloud-based solutions
• Technical or team leadership
• Stakeholder engagement
• Administration of Linux and Windows systems
• Deploying and troubleshooting IPv4 Networking and Subnetting
• Automation tasks using either Bash, Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell, or Python
