You’ll act as the Lead CNC Programmer, with a range of skills and experience. You'll be able to further develop your skills and experience within a unique environment across a portfolio of incredibly exciting work.
The role
As the Lead CNC Programmer, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary, working with a range of materials where every requirement varies to produce one-off bespoke pieces, working in a collaborative team which has a fantastic culture.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
  • Aid in all aspects of high level programming, setting and operating of machinery.
  • You have the opportunity to work on all stages of the product lifecycle working, and developing you skills across manual milling and turning, as well as High-end CMM operation, Hand fettling and balancing.
  • The Lead CNC Programmer will actively collaborate with Designers, Scientists and Subject Matter experts to inform the solution and machining approaches form concept stage.
We work mainly on bespoke, one off items with every project being different.
Working arrangements are full-time on the Haslar site with flexible working hours.
Essential experience of the Lead CNC Programmer:
We value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
  • You'll be supported in training and mentorship to further develop your experience.
  • You'll need sufficient experience as a talented 5 axis CNC Programmer Setter Operator.
  • The ideal Lead CNC Programmer will have a love for mechanical engineering, problem solving and an eye for detail, with a love for creating solutions with others.
Qualifications for the Lead CNC Programmer:
  • You'll also need a relevant technical background and sufficient experience relating to CNC programming.
Please note that all applicants must be eligible for SC clearance, as a minimum.
