Interim LD Commissioner
Location: London, flexible hybrid working

Length: 6 months initially
An opportunity has arisen with one of our London based clients for an interim LD Commissioner. The successful candidate will work strategically to understand and improve the Council’s Commissioning arrangements across Children and Adults with Disabilities.
Key responsibilities of the Interim LD Commissioner include:
- Lead on the complex commissioning arrangements in relation to placements, brokerage, CHC and supported living
- Effectively support the embedding of a new tender
- Lead of service development exercises and undertake effective brokerage negotiations
- Work effectively with the ICB on the development of commissioning arrangements and joint strategy relating to CHC
Essential experience for the Interim LD Commissioner include:
- Demonstrable experience as a strategic commissioner in Disabilities across Childrens and Adults
- Understanding contracts, SLAs and larger tenders
- Good interpersonal skills and relationship building
- Ability to bring together teams of people to solve problems
- Previous work with placements, brokerage and social care
