£70,000 - £80,000 DOE + Progression + Equity + Pension + Holiday
Outstanding opportunity for a Lead Data Engineer with knowledgeable understanding of languages across the board to join a specialist and exciting health e-commerce start-up company offering exciting progression opportunities all the way through to C-suite levels, tonnes of autonomy and responsibility, and the chance to build out an entire Data Team.
This company are a start-up who are passionate about healthy living. They are looking to grow rapidly within the health and wellness industry. After receiving funding, they are now looking for a strong individual to take control of data operations and to support with business decision making.
In this role, you will be responsible for building an entire Data Ecosystem including end to end data pipelines, reporting, and warehousing. This is the first data role within the company meaning there is a clear route for you to take ownership, lead teams, and become a key stakeholder within the business. You will design, code, and deliver the ecosystem, reporting directly to the Growth Director.
The ideal candidate will be very comfortable working with Python, SQL, and have at least some understanding of Shopify. Candidates must be comfortable with building the entire ecosystem themselves and be comfortable working in a start-up environment. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of Hammersmith and be comfortable working on-site at least 3 days a week.

The Role:

• Building the entire Data ecosystem
• First Data Engineer in the business
• Working with Python, SQL, and Shopify
• Based in Hammersmith, Hybrid working (2/3 days a week on site)

The Person:

• Data Engineer
• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
• Experience or good understanding of Shopify
• Experience within a start-up/scale-up environment
• Must be commutable to Hammersmith and happy with a minimum of 3 days a week on-stie
