This exciting business develop an innovating range of eco-friendly products that are revolutionising the recycling industry. They are seeing an ever growing demand for their products and are currently going through a period of sustained growth with the release of new products. Due to this they are looking for a Lead Design Engineer to join their expert team.
In this role you will be tasking with leading a small team working on the designs for a range of special purpose machinery. You will be hands on with design work, and supporting the more junior engineers within your team with training and development. Due to the nature of the role, you will also be required to travel and work abroad around 30% of the time, so must be comfortable with this.
This role would therefore suit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer from a special purpose machinery background, who is looking for a new challenge and the chance to play a key role at a pioneering start-up company.
The Role:
- Leading a small design team
- Design for special purpose machinery
- Producing detailed models & drawings
- Involved in research projects
- Travelling/working abroad around 30% of your time
- 50,000 - 60,000 + Bonus + Progression + Excellent Benefits
The Person:
- Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer
- Proficient in Solidworks
- Experience with special purpose machine design
- Happy to travel and work abroad
- Commutable to Ipswich area
