Lead Developer – to £70,000 - Remote
Our client is embarking on a transformative journey to move our current legacy application onto a new web/cloud-based platform. This transition aims to future-proof our services, build new capabilities, and deliver enhanced solutions to a growing customer base. You will play a pivotal role in replacing the existing functionality and building a comprehensive migration and integration toolset.

This role is home-based - it would be beneficial if you are Midlands-based for very occasional trips to the offices in Derbyshire. If you're ready for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

Our client is a small, positive development team responsible for all aspects of our business management software. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative Lead Software Developer to integrate seamlessly with our existing team.

• Can manage their own time and delegate efficiently.
• Able to work with the Managing Director to manage project resources effectively.

What We Need From You: You will work within an agile sprint structure, mentoring and leading developers to accelerate the development flow reliably. You will ensure the testability, maintainability, and consistency of the code follows best practices. Your role will involve the professional development, guidance, and learning of other development team members, with a special emphasis on integrating applications and systems.

What We Are Looking For: The following skills are essential:

• A confident, hands-on, full-stack developer with a strong focus on application integration.
• Fluent in C# .NET, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or other hosted environments.
• Passion for following and disseminating best practices, especially regarding integration.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a technical team.
