Lead Devops Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines, managing infrastructure, and monitoring systems. Also needs to have a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills and, business acumen to effectively mange the team and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

12 month Fixed Term Contract

Hybrid working - 3 days per week on-site, 2 days working remotely.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software release process
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of code changes
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and availability issues
• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes
• Develop a central knowledge bank of technical documentation

Your Experience:

• Significant experience in a Cloud hosted DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineer role or related field
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or TeamCity
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as Azure
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Salt
• Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
