SalaryLead Drainage Engineer required for our client. Our client, a leading business providing a wide range of building maintenance and facilities management services to commercial, industrial, and public sector client. Our client is looking for a Lead Drainage Engineer to join their expanding department. The ideal Lead Drainage Engineer will be based within 40 minutes of the head office in Kent, all work will cover commercial and industrial sectors working on client contracts such as retail parks and restaurants.
The Lead Drainage Engineer will be expected to carry out CCTV Surveys, coding and surveying, high pressure water jetting, dealing with blockages and be able to help guide/ manage a team of engineers. They will be tasked with helping to train the engineers to a high standard ensuring jobs are completed to the highest quality. Due to having multiple large clients contracts some work is required to start early morning or late at night so the Lead Drainage Engineer would have to be flexible on their schedule.
The successful Lead Drainage Engineer would need to be based locally to the client's head office in Kent.
Lead Drainage Engineer Position Requirements
- Able to conduct CCTV Surveys (coding and surveying)
- Able to do jetting
- Able to deal with blockages
- Able to start early morning
- Able to work nights
- Internal electro-mechanical experience (desirable)
Lead Drainage Engineer Position Remuneration
- Basic salary of £35k - £38k
- Company vehicle
- 28 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays)
- Holiday allowance increases after 1 years of service (max 5 days for 5 years service)
- Overtime
- 1 in 4 call out rota (weekdays - £80 per call out. Anything after 2 hours on site gets x1.25. Weekends - £90 for first call out - £ 50 for the second call out and then any other call out is £40. After 2 hours on site gets x1.5)
