A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join an excellent Manufacturing company in the Bristol area.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design of precision mechanical/electrical systems and mechanisms.
• Guiding and mentoring the engineering team members, ensuring their professional growth and development, including introduction for new staff.
• Team compliance with company quality, and other regulatory and compliance standards.
• Support other departments by answering queries and requests for information relating to your function.
• Support the other Lead Engineer to ensure engineering consistency.
• Prioritise the continuous improvement of engineering function and the team.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Design of precision mechanical/electrical systems and mechanisms.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials.
• Qualifications in an engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Software) and CAD software, (Solid Edge/AutoCAD preferred)
• Lifecycle management knowledge
• Report writing skills, Microsoft Word & Excel - competent
• Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of regulatory and standards compliance requirements
