As the Lead Electronic Design Engineer, you will supervise and guide a small but experienced team of designers, ensuring that their designs meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and innovation. You will also liaise with the Lead Mechanical Engineer to compile product documentation, hold product document reviews and assist in the maintenance of these documents with full revision controls.

In this Lead Electronic Design Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Lead a small team of electronic designers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and project oversight
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and product managers to reach successful project outcomes
• Champion a culture of creativity, continuous improvement, and excellence in electronic design
• Provide tracking of project milestones, management of resources, and attainment of deadlines.

To apply for this Lead Electronic Design Engineer role, you will need a relevant engineering degree and likely ten years of suitable and relevant electronic design experience.

You will also require the following:

• Circuit Design and Analysis
• Design of analogue and digital circuits, including amplifiers, filters, oscillators, and power supplies
• Analysis of circuit performance using tools like SPICE
• Expertise with FPGAs and their integration into complex designs
• Firmware development for various micros (C/C++, Python, VHDL)
• Experience with high-temperature electronics and the challenges they pose.
