Our client is a Health Regulatory Body sponsored by the Department of Health & Social Care. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join on a high profile multi-supplier, multi-year programme.
The Enterprise Solution Architect will join the team asap and work with the Regulator on delivering a flexible regulatory management system to support the new Operating Model. The programme will deliver a core regulatory data platform covering structured and unstructured data to enable improved data exchange and the implementation of international standards and align the client to UK health system integration standards such as FHIR. It will also put in a new technology stack for future digital products and services.
Working to the Lead Enterprise Architect (as the right hand), the Solution Architect will provide client-side intelligence to assure the solution and no supplier bias. The role requires pulling together and monitoring solutions across the programme - creating bandwidth for the delivery of Solution Architecture, creating high level designs and monitor against the client's principles and ensure relevant artefacts are present and of high quality.
The applicant must be an experienced Solution Architect ideally with a Government, Regulatory or Health background. You must be able to understand business process and context and be able to obtain detailed knowledge of the environment and ask the 'why' as well as understanding the solution/technical aspects of the programme. Experience working with React open source front-end technology is advantageous and working in a multi-supplier environment.
