About the Studio

Join a team exploring the world of online AAA gaming! Formed in 2017, this studio has been on a rollercoaster journey with some fascinating games coming up! They started as a small team in Sweden and London, growing to over 400 employees in the last six years. 

With well-being and development at the forefront of their mission, the team is quickly moving from strength to strength in the gaming space.

Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Lead Environment Artist, you will join an ambitious, passionate team working on the studio's latest IP. You will collaborate with the Art Director and the Production team to oversee the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality environments that meet the visual standards of the project.
  • Work with the Tech and Level Design teams to define and maintain environment content pipelines and work.
  • Communicate with internal artists and external outsourcing vendors.
  • Collaborate with the extended team to drive our project forward with exciting ideas.
  • Hire and develop yourself and those around you.
  • Cooperate with the Art Director and Concept Artists to develop and maintain a consistent visual direction.
  • Collaborate with the production team to inform our project timelines.

About You

  • Have shipped at least one AAA game from end-to-end as a Lead Environment Artist.
  • Experience managing and leading a team of Environment Artists.
  • Comfortable making decisions that can affect the entire studio with a clear and level head.
  • Has a very high degree of level design and narrative understanding
  • Lead and motivate others
  • Excellent organisation and project planning skills
  • Comfortable working with other disciplines to define environment content pipelines.
  • Experienced and comfortable setting up and running outsourcing arrangements.
  • Keen about problem-solving and driving innovation.
  • A positive, creative force that is proactive and has the initiative.
  • Passionate about creating and playing games.
