Job Title: Lead Estimator

Location: Warwick

Hybrid of 2 days a week in the office

Duration: 6 Months

The Role:

Is to manage and develop the project's Cost estimate, appropriate level of detail. I am accountable for the development of the estimating methodology and defining the associated level of confidence .

I work with the project team to identify the available information and the gaps and define what is needed to improve the quality of the available data for the purpose of producing more robust estimates.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

• Liaising with Project team to establish the project scope.
• Identifying gaps in the available information that is essential for project cost estimation and risk.
• Challenge the available detail and obtain the relevant missing information to develop the assumptions.
• Track progress and manage the relevant governance reviews an sign offs.
• Collaboration with the wider team to establish the project baseline (scope, programme, cost estimate and contingency)

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Leadership
• Ability to extract relevant information
• Networking and Collaboration
• Production of robust estimates with sufficient details.
• Problem Solving
• Utilities estimating experience.
• Constructability knowledge & some technical experience.
• Ability to interpret technical & cost information
• Self starter
