Lead Full Stack Engineer

Lead Full Stack Developer - Up to £95,000 - Hybrid (London)
We are recruiting for a Lead Developer for one of our major national clients to work from their head office in London.
They are embarking on a highly innovative project within a brand-new team which you will lead.
The successful candidate will need to be a well-equipped technical lead that is able to be hands on, as well as make higher level architectural decisions within a microservice based environment.
You will act as the single point of contact and will hold the responsibility to make pivotal decisions on how the system is designed and architected.
This is a hands-on role, requiring exceptional coding skills for Java/JavaScript based applications. There will be line management requirements however this is secondary to being the technical lead.
Key responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and code cutting edge applications
• Be able to write exceptional, testable, and scalable code
• Own the product deployment function
• Mentor and mange members of the team, conducting coding reviews
• Constantly looking to innovate in all elements of design
• Solving technical roadblocks through architecture design and re-evaluating processes

Key requirements:

• Strong backend background within Java
• Good React experience, Vue/Angular backgrounds accepted
• Ideally Next.js experience
• AWS/ cloud background
• Technical expert within development- 5+ years
• Hands-on
• Leading development of enterprise level applications
• Microservices/SOA

This role is a permanent position and offers a salary of up to £95,000 with great benefits including a generous bonus, healthcare, and many other perks. You will be required to travel to the London based office twice weekly, only a short walk from Waterloo. You are required in the office twice weekly
