In this dynamic dual role as a Lead Generation Specialist and Junior Account Executive, effective time management is paramount to achieve your new lead and sales target KPIs and goals.
You will seamlessly balance your responsibilities by prioritising tasks and strategically allocating time between Lead Generation initiatives and account management activities.
Your ability to transition smoothly from identifying and qualifying leads to fostering client relationships will be crucial. We encourage a proactive approach, where you optimise workflow, streamline processes, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
You will be required to manage your time and energy between these roles, you will contribute significantly to the overall success of our Lead Generation and sales objectives.

We are a specialist design-in distributor of power supply unit (PSU), using expert knowledge to specify, source and purchase power supply products for use in any customers' application across all industries.
Our brand is synonymous with innovative top quality, high performance, and well-engineered efficient designs. Our comprehensive range of products include DC/DC Converters, AC/DC PSU, Internal and External Power Supplies, Battery Chargers and LED Drivers.
Why are we recruiting?
We are looking to grow our sales by £2.5m over the next two years. Our financial year starts 1st October, and this position is part of a wider expansion plan to help us achieve this growth.
Reporting To: Head of Sales and Marketing
Where: Peterborough
Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5.30pm (30 min Lunch Break)
What Will You Be Doing?
You will need to thrive on a challenge, deliver creative telephone negotiations and will be target driven to achieve KPIs, personal targets and expected sales.
This role will involve telephone conversations and face to face meetings with existing and potential business partners.
These will take place on site at customers premises, seminars, shows and
exhibitions.
The blend of telephone account management with an existing customer base, warm leads, and prospecting new business in a high call volume, target driven environment.
A high degree of positivity and a superior telephone sales skills are required.
We are looking for a solution finder with a can-do attitude, highly motivated and up for a challenge.
Lead Generation Specialist:
As a Lead Generator, you will be crucial in expanding our customer base by identifying potential leads and initiating outreach efforts. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to generate qualified leads and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- High volume of outgoing calls to find new opportunities for the sales team to follow up and
convert.
- Achieve KPIs and targets to maintain high productivity, performance and results.
- Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including Lusha, online
research, industry exhibit lists and industry-specific platforms.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to initiate contact with
potential clients.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria, for example, the leads' needs, budget, and
timeline, and ensure accurate data entry into our CRM system.
- Lead Nurturing: After a lead is qualified, nurture them until they are prepared to purchase.
This entails delivering valuable content and information while maintaining regular
communication to ensure a sustained connection.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective lead-generation
strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business
opportunities.
- Provide regular reports on Lead Generation activities, including key metrics and progress
updates.
- Focus on Grade A and Grade B Leads:
GRADE 'A' Enquiry
Classification: Own Product (i.e. decision-making company and not CEM, reseller)
Quantity: 500+ pcs per annum and/or worth £10,000+/year
Repeatable: on-going demand every year
Product Type: Products available from our primary/regular sources
Location: Based in the UK
GRADE 'B' Enquiry
Classification: Can be Own Product/Reseller/Third Part/Designer
Quantity: 500+ pcs per annum and/or worth £10,000+/year
Repeatable: on-going demand every year
Product Type: Products available from our primary/regular sources or sufficient
volumes/value for 3K pcs+ and over £25k value to find suitable product

Junior Account Executive:
As a Junior Account Executive, you will be instrumental in understanding client needs, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing support of our power supply solutions.
You will take ownership of your accounts, build relationships with potential clients, and guide them through our product offerings and processes. You aim to ensure a seamless transition from lead qualification to client onboarding while meeting or exceeding individual and team targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- High volume of outgoing calls to understand customer requirements, follow processes, talk
to the correct people, understand barriers, and create new and repeat business.
- Achieve KPIs and sales targets to maintain high productivity, performance, and gain results.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through effective communication.
- Conducted product/service presentations and addressed client inquiries.
- Collaborate with senior account managers to strategies and meet sales targets.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities.
