My client is regarded as UK leader in electrical and mechanical automation systems, with a track record in excellence, as part of their exciting expansion plans and to enable growth, they are currently looking for experienced leaders who have previously worked within an industrial electrical industry and have had site/team leader responsibilities whilst leading by example.
The Role - Lead Industrial Electrician / Technician:
- Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment
- Planning and recording maintenance tasks
- Ensure all works are compliant with the Permit to work whilst still following RAMS requirements
- Complete all associated documentation for installations including test reports
- Ensure that jobs are completed to a high level in the most efficient way possible
- Ensure that any tools used are safe and are serviced correctly
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Lead Industrial Electrician / Technician:
- Qualified in Electrical Installations (NVQ Level 3 or C&G)
- Be an Approved Electrician (AM2)
- Experience within Industrial electrical Installations is essential
- A good working knowledge of electrical control & safety circuit, electrical schematics and no stranger to layout drawings (P&ID)
- A full array of skills and experiences for completing electrical installations in an industrial environment
- 18th Edition (Ideal, will update if required)
- Inspection and Testing 2391 (ideal - will train)
- Motivated and excellent team player
- Starting salary circa £40,000 per annum
