A new and exciting piece of work is taking place right now, and this is the opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer who is an expert with Active Directory, to shine!

This is a meaningful role where you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the programmes highly secure Active Directory infrastructure. This includes managing the AD environment, crafting and implementing security policies, supervising performance and availability, and providing technical support and mentorship to the technical teams.

You do need to preferably hold DV Clearance for this role, although we will consider current SC and eligible for DV.

Office based in Hemel.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, implement, and maintain the AD environment, including domain controllers, DNS and Group Policy
• Ensure that the AD environment is secure, reliable, and scalable
• Plan and implement AD migrations, upgrades, and improvements
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures for the AD environment, including authentication, access control, and auditing
• Active Directory Performance and Availability

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in Active Directory design, implementation, and support
• Solid understanding of AD infrastructure and systems
• Expertise in Active Directory security policies and procedures
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and management of AD services
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
