I am currently recruiting for a dynamic and innovative health tech start up company, revolutionising the health care industry with a groundbreaking multi-modal model. Committed to improving patient outcomes and transforming health care, this business are seeking a talented Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join their existing team and drive their language initiatives to new heights.

As the Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their multi-modal model and spearheading its development from inception to deployment. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of AI & improving current health care systems.

The responsibilities for the role are:
* Lead the development and implementation of Machine Learning algorithms for our multi-modal model, with a focus on improving accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
* Architect and build robust, scalable, and production-ready Machine Learning pipelines from the ground up.
* Drive the deployment of Machine Learning models into production environments and ensure smooth integration with existing systems.
* Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
* Build a Machine Learning team that will have a wide range of responsibilities on top of this initial project.

Required experience for this role:
* Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
* Experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, with a strong track record of developing and deploying Machine Learning models in real-world applications.
* Deep understanding of Machine Learning algorithms, techniques, and best practices, with a focus on large language models.
* Strong Knowledge of Python and multiple libraries.
* Proven experience setting up a team and building out foundational LLMs.

This position is offering a salary of up to £100,000 per annum and will be on a hybrid working schedule, with modern offices based out of Cheshire.
