Lead Maintenance Engineer is a new role created by an absolute gem of food production companies based in Co Armagh who have some really exciting improvement and growth plans in place. Your new role
Working from 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, as Lead Engineer, you don't just ensure the plant runs, but you are always reviewing performance and potential improvement really to optimise the potential of the plant. For example, you may review an asset and devise a better preventative maintenance plan for it to reduce the time spent on repairs and amend that as required or analyse breakdown causes and suggest and deliver a fix that takes the pressure off of the team, so its always evolving and the plan for the future should engage you to keep you challenged and highly involved.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will be electrically strong but multi-skilled and have a really strong interest in assuming responsibility for identifying and seeing through improvements caring about the efficiency of your plant and aiming to enhance it while supporting the day-to-day engineers where required with technical support and utilising your skills.
