Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, a leading engineering firm based in Bristol, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as Lead Mechanical Design Engineer. As part of this role, you will lead and be part of a team working on innovative designs that shape the future of sustainable energy.
What you'll be doing:
Overseeing all stages of Mechanical Design from concept through detailed construction drawing production
Leading technical aspects during project meetings with clients
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Managing multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers & drafters
Skills, experience and qualifications you'll need:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent education experience within relevant field.
Experience working within civil nuclear or marine nuclear projects is essential
Pressure vessel and heat exchanger experience
Proficient user knowledge using SolidWorks, AutoCAD and SmartPlant.
You'll also need experience of ASME and FEA.
