We are actively looking to secure a Lead .Net Developer to join Experis.

Job Purpose/The Role:

• Working closely with Solution Architect and be responsible for the leading design, development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance for Trade APIs. Consistently writing robust, clean, well-tested and documented code.
• Be an "expert" in systems design and software development for Trade APIs
• Work alongside with Solution Architect and Project Manager to identify and plan work and formulate requirements.
• Assist Delivery Manager, Project Manager and Scrum Master and be responsible for providing project and resource management
• Responsible for the day-to-day technical management of Trade APIs. Conducting detailed analysis of system interactions to determine technical solutions and resolve problems which are cost effective and consistent with user needs, system capacities and capabilities.
• To provide technical advice and guidance to developers in all aspects of design and development, remove any blockers and champion good practices.
• Do database design and optimization.
• Perform unit and integration tests to ensure software conformity to the functional and technical specifications.
• Be aware of the health of the team, onboard new members and manage leavers.

Your Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience of working as lead developer for at least 5+ years on commercial enterprise level projects.
• Energy and excitement about cloud computing with experience of building scalable, resilient applications using Azure.
• Experience of .NET and related technologies (.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, etc.).
• Experience of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), ideally using Azure DevOps.
• Experience of working in collaborative teams and working in an agile manner in a commercial environment.
• A passion for technology and a drive to build enterprise systems with some of the UK's biggest names
• A desire to continually develop your knowledge of new functionality in the Microsoft technology stack, knowing what the future holds and how it can benefit our customers. We are also using the following technologies and patterns, it would be great if you had some of the skills, if not we can help develop them
• Designing microservice-based architectures using domain driven design (DDD), CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns
• Hold one or more Azure or .NET certifications
• Azure DevOps
• Knowledge or experience of Security standards i.e. OWASP, PCI etc.
• Essential Skillset C#, .Net Core, .Net 6, Asp.Net, MVC
• Rest APIs, Entity Framework, Visual Studio 2022 MS SQL Server, Azure Storage Account
• Frontend - VueJs, MVC, JavaScript
• Azure platform - App Services, Function Apps, App Insights, APIM, Service Bus, Azure Active Directory, Key Vault, Managed Identity
• Test Automation - xUnit, Mocking Framework - Moq, TDD (nice to have Specflow, Selenium)
• API Testing (functional) using - Postman, SOAPUI and Swagger
• Experience of using Azure DevOps Boards, Build/Release Pipelines
• Web Content Accessibility - Knowledge of WCAG, W3C standards
• Application Security - Knowledge of OWASP Top 10
