Our well-established client located in Arnold Nottinghamshire are seeking a Lead Occupational Therapist to join their friendly team on a Full time - Permanent basis with a salary of £43,742 - £50,952 on offer dependent upon experience.

Job Overview

This position is located in Arnold Nottinghamshire, Lead Occupational Therapist you are to lead the OT team, including OTs' and OT Assistants, as part of the wider Therapies Team. To develop and provide the necessary assessments and treatments within a busy acute adult mental health and PICU service.

Main Responsibilities

The main responsibilities as a Lead Occupational Therapist you will be required to provide clinical specialist assessments for the patient group, to report the effectiveness of the service to clinical governance and other performance related meetings. To advocate and promote the role of OT within the acute/PICU setting. You are required to form a positive working relations with the wider MDT. To upskill and develop the OT workforce, embedded up to date practices and evidence-based research into the service from an OTs perspective.

Skills Required

Seeking an Lead Occupational Therapist who is driven, has an understanding for the therapy pathway to support the patient journey from admission to discharge. Therapist who is adaptable, to be able to meet the changes of the patient groups needs whilst also establishing stability through purposeful and meaningful activity. A therapist seeking excellence the drive to change and continuously improve whilst being able to communicate the need for improvement through evidence and data.

Lead Occupational Therapist MUST hold the following qualifications BSc Hons or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and accreditation by the HCPC.
