Job description

We are looking for an Oracle Fusion Lead Project Manager specifically for the Expense and Future Talent works streams to be part of the Programme Management team of the Modernisation Programme managing key PM tasks and activities, working alongside a fantastic programme team. The Modernisation Programme is a major programme that offers unique learning opportunities due to its scale and complexity and use of Cloud applications and services.

Description

Skilled and experienced specifically in Expense and Future TalentOracle Fusion PM specialisms, you will support a broad range of services, which will include:

  • Defining, managing, challenging, and delivering control processes in the Oracle Programme.
  • Ensuring and managing the programme compliance with the organisations and programme delivery frameworks
  • Managing a PMO Office and staff.
  • Planning, implementing, and controlling Oracle Fusion programme plans and resources and governance.
  • Managing and driving governance and controls and delivery in the programme - plans, resources, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies), RACI, proactively proposing solutions where issues have been identified and driving them to resolution.
  • Working with stakeholders and third parties to understand and identify areas for improvement.
  • Leading processes setting out standards and tools and defining reporting timetables to ensure the provision of reliable and consistent management information.
  • Challenging constructively and assessing overall PM process and service effectiveness, and progress of the programme by creating/reviewing progress reports, presentations, financials and other key management information
  • Managing, organising, and driving lessons learnt reviews and retrospectives when significant milestones are completed, capturing, and proactively disseminating the information, and proposing program recommendations where appropriate.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management across a diverse set of senior-level stakeholders who may have competing priorities
  • Driving deliverables and timelines to successful resolution
  • Supporting the Programme Director in the successful delivery of the program

Profile

Essential Criteria:

  • A proactive self-starter who can develop and maintain effective working relationships with the programme community, the wider team, stakeholders from across the Bank and varying levels of seniority, and external suppliers.
  • Experience of working in and managing an Oracle Fusion centralized / programme and PMO environment on high priority, complex, business and IT programmes and projects
  • Specific experience of Expense and Future Talent workstreams within Oracle Fusion covering:
  • Day to Day Program Management of plans, resources, deliverables
  • Leading and Driving Meetings and Boards
  • Creating and Managing Planning, Governance and Controls
  • Driving Risk and Issue Management
  • Creating and implementing PMO processes design and implementation
  • Programme/ Portfolio Dependency Identification and Tracking
  • Programme Heath Checks/ Assurance
  • Programme Gating, milestones, and deliverables
  • Program Financials
  • Change Control
  • Defining Governance Approaches
  • Lessons Learnt
  • PM Reporting (e.g. Status Reporting, Risk Review Reporting, adherence dashboards, health check reports, and reporting to support Programme Board/senior reviewers)
  • Experience of producing high-quality documentation, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
  • Experience delivering presentations to the delivery/programme and stakeholder community (or groups within this)
  • Experience managing third parties and program teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) with the ability to connect with and influence people at all levels of the organisation.
  • Able to use judgement and provide sound justification for decisions.
  • Ability to challenge constructively whilst maintaining excellent working relationships within the programme community and with stakeholders.
  • Experience of working collaboratively across project and organisational boundaries to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to produce and report critical information and patterns from complex data, producing accurate conclusions and recommendations.
  • Experience of mentoring and coaching team members and wider PM team, including those more senior.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, including Microsoft Project and Excel.
  • An understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP programs and modules inclusive of Finance, HCM, Reporting, Projects
  • A good understanding of the phases in an Oracle Programme and the technology that underpins it.
  • Experience of defining and implementing new processes applicable at Programme Level.
  • Experience working with JIRA and Confluence to deliver PMO reports or processes.
  • Experience in working with third parties and internal teams in the delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud Programs across Projects/Financials/HCM and reporting.

Job Offer

The role will be a 12 month fixed term contract offering a base salary of £120,000 + outstanding benefits (OTE £130,000 - £135,000)
