Lead Pega Developer
Edenred PayTech
Hybrid – Swindon, Wiltshire or Paddington, London
Up to £90,000, plus 10% Bonus & Benefits
Reporting to – Software Development Team Lead
We are now hiring multiple Lead Pega Developer, to help us shape a brand new PEGA team within Edenred PayTech. This is a hands-on development position, where you will be inheriting platforms in-house.
You will be involved in developing our brand new Customer Services Portal, to provide out customers with a high-quality, feature rich experience to administer their products and accounts holders.
The PEGA Develop will develop and deliver a wide range set of product features from customer onboarding, account management, through to fraud case management and product configuration.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a new project, helping to design and deliver a brand new solution for our customers, working within a rewarding and fast-paced engineering environment.
What you will be doing:
  • Delivery of high quality software into production
  • Developments follow best practices and published standards
  • Ensure development follow best practices
  • Proactively look for ways to improve quality, stability and performance of the platform
  • Take responsibility for the effective resolution of issues as they arise
  • Proactively contribute to the technical evolution of PrePay’s products
  • Development of features and platform enhancements in adherence to PPS development standards and best practices
  • Assisting in the full lifecycle of development from requirements through to delivery, including appropriate testing of the solution
  • Actively contribute to story creation and refinement and adherence to agile principles

What we want from you:
  • Commercial experience of
    • Designing and developing Pega PRPC solutions
    • Familiarity with Java and relational databases
    • TDD & BDD
    • OO analysis & design
    • Agile practices
    • DevOps culture and practices
  • Experience of the following would be beneficial:
    • Web technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, XML/JSON
    • Tools: Git, Ant, Maven, Tomcat, Apache, Jenkins
