Leading project controls processes deployment in support of large high value projects across the project lifecycleApplying their expert understanding of project controls techniques and knowledge of project controls toolsets (e.g. EVM, Risk, Change) to produce project controls deliverablesLeading the collation of programme performance metrics from various data sources to report against cost, schedule, milestone delivery and other KPIs and supporting the facilitation/chairing of meetingsProviding support to the Project Managers / Control Account Managers to manage cost, schedule and quality with associated data and metrics where required, as well as support to resolve emergent project issues and mitigate riskPerforming quarterly estimate at Completion and resource profiling process - providing support to the process and/or being accountable for specific outputsSupporting the implementation of the risk and opportunity process on projects, including reviewing contingencies where requiredTaking lead on various project outputs that require a high level of problem solving, expert knowledge, and analysisYour skills and experiences:Essential:Comprehensive project controls experience demonstrated in a professional capacityExcellent understanding of Project Controls processes including Project Reporting, EVM, Cost Management, Scheduling, Risk & Opportunity Management and Baseline Change ManagementExperience in using Project Controls toolsets for reporting such a TableauAbility to interpret and analyse complex multiple data sources of management information and present to senior stakeholders with recommendationsExperience in advanced problem-solving including root cause analysis to support effective programme issue resolutionDesirable:Experience in a Project Controller / Cost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor role within a complex engineering/manufacturing environmentExperience of coaching other in project controls methodologiesAPM-Q or relevant degree qualificationBenefits:You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. You will be supporting the Control Account Manager (CAM) and Project Manager, you will work alongside and supporting several Project Controllers as well as engaging with other internal teams.
