Job title:Lead Project ControllerLocation: Broad Oak, Portsmouth; We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.Salary: Up to £49,000 depending on skills and experience What you'll be doing:Supporting the project controls manager in leading a team of project control professionals to:
Establish and manage project schedulesTrack spend and control project costsImplement and utilise Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologiesSupport the identification and management of risks and opportunitiesAnalyse project information to enable early identification of problems and then implement mitigation actionsDrive ownership and manage changes of the work scope tasks throughout the project teamYour skills and experiences:Experience of working within a Project environmentExperience creating and maintaining project schedules using toolsets such as MSP, Open Plan or P6Knowledge of principles of Earned Value Management techniquesKnowledge of risk, opportunity and change managementA formal project management qualification such as APMP, PMQ, PMP or Prince 2Line management experienceBenefits:You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. You will have the chance to work with a range of people within Combat Systems such as Project Managers, Engineers, and Control Account Managers, as well as interact with the wider build programme.
