We are looking for a Lead Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the IT project delivery team. You will also deliver key business projects by planning, executing, and overseeing projects across the IT EF. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful planning, execution and completion of IT projects in alignment with business goals and objectives.
You will:
- Lead the project delivery team, providing clear direction and motivation.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the project management team
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, department heads, and external vendors.
- Establish and enforce project management standards, processes, and methodologies.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies.
- Allocate resources (including personnel and budgets) effectively to meet project goals.
- Monitor and report on project performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, and budget adherence.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Establish regular communication channels with stakeholders to provide project updates.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Implement quality assurance processes and conduct project audits as necessary.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and change request
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (if applicable).
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Knowledge and expertise aligned to professional certification in project management (PRINCE2 practitioner, Agile Scrum Master, Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications)
- Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.
