The Cambian Group, the UKs largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation, and learning disabilities, is looking for a dedicated, caring individual to join the company as a psychologist. Cambian Meridais a new service and will consists of five Registered childrens homes, one being a two bedded high dependency provision operating 52 weeks of the year alongside on-site educational support. Job Role To take a lead role in the development of the psychology service for Merida, a Specialist Mental Health Residential Service for CYP. Merida specialises in caring for CYP who have ongoing mental health needs and challenging behaviours that may prevent them from functioning within the wider community without ongoing support. The clinical psychologist will be part of a wider MDT, including psychiatrist, Mental Health Practitioner, Occupational Therapist, education and care staff team. Candidate Profile To be successful in this role you will be excited by the Cambian vision and values and will relish an opportunity to make a difference. You will need to be a clear communicator, well-organised, confident and capable of managing a complex caseload in a demanding environment. Experience of supervising others and providing training to multi-disciplinary staff is required. Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.
