Lead Quality Assurance Technician
Doncaster DN2, up to £32k
Lead QA; duties include:
Responsible for QA throughout the workflow as well as final QA, this includes checking over vehicle conversions to ensure that all items have been fitted correctly and are in full working order
Be able to tutor and educate the team
Complete paperwork and provide QA stats and monthly presentations
Ensuring the team cover all the required hours to meet production demands
Manage and be able to use the department tablet system for recording checks
Identify failure trends and report back with solutions
Quality check all paperwork and job sheets as well as vehicles
Support the operation by re-deploying team if needed
Create and implement processes to improve efficiencies and quality
Apply stickers, rubber matting and any other items required
Be able to use vehicle weigh pads and record details of each type of conversion
Assist with vehicle hand overs; this may include customer contact
Lead QA; requirements:
Keen eye for detail with problem solving skills
Mentoring skills with effective communication
Able to build positive relations with employees at all levels within the organisation
Able to build positive relations with external contacts including customers and suppliers
Holding a valid driving licence is essential as travel is required between two Doncaster sites
Basic computer and admin skills

Salary: Up to £32k
Hours: 40 hours per week
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30-4pm
Holidays: 20 holidays per year plus bank holidays, this increases by 1 per full year for 3 years
