Lead Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Quality professional to join the Quality team. This role will be based at a prestigious manufacturing site in Hethel and is crucial to delivering class-leading products to customers.

This role will form part of an agile team responsible for driving fast containment and resolving all chronic and complex concerns within the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a systematic approach driving the robust progression of complex quality investigations using problem solving tools
• Working cross-functionally delivering prompt resolution by supporting key stakeholders.
• Set up and support daily reviews to communicate and drive issue resolution, fundamentally resulting in enhanced customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and refine containment efficiency
• Drive lessons learned into new model development.

Essential

• Degree Qualified in relevant field
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Microsoft Office tool proficiency
• Excellent knowledge of problem-solving tools
• Capability to operate under pressure and be able to demonstrate a proactive approach
• Act as a champion for fast and efficient collaboration
• Open to new challenges and be able to adapt to fast paced changes
• Analytical, structured and confident, with excellent communication and negotiation skills both verbal and written.
• Skilled at forming cross-functional relationships with excellent interpersonal skills

Desirable

• Previous understanding of manufacturing operations and lean operations

Experience and Educational requirements

• Equivalent of 7 years experience in Quality Engineering
• Degree or equivalent, Masters Degree is Desirable
