These are the specific responsibilities included in the role:
- Technical leadership in the development of flux-qubit based Analog Quantum Processors. This task will involve overseeing and taking an active role with the respective teams working on the device design, its fabrication and its characterization processes.
- Supervision and development of a team of junior researchers, including industrial PhD students, to grow in independence and in their career path within the company..
- Contribute in the definition of the internal technology roadmap and take part in the strategy and decision- making process of the company as part of its senior team.
Requirements: ✔️
- PhD, or an equivalent number of years of experience, in quantum computing or related subject.
- Good command of English language (oral and written).
- Experience with superconducting quantum device device characterization and measurement
- Programming in Python
- Experience in electronics (GHz and radio-frequency domains preferrable)
- Former experience in superconducting quantum technology laboratories.
Any of the following skills will be highly valued:
- Multi-qubit device characterization
- Flux-like qubit device experience
- Experience in cryogenics
- Previous leadership role/experience
- Electromagnetic simulation software (e.g., HFSS, CST, Maxwell, Sonnet)
- Nanofabrication (e.g. Lithography, evaporation, sputtering)
