Lead Reserving Actuary

We have partnered with a rapidly growing Lloyd's syndicate to find them a Lead Reserving Actuary. This person would be in charge of reserving across the syndicate. The role would be working directly with their Chief and deputy chief actuary as their right hand.

This role is not limited to but includes :

• Coordinating the quarterly reserving process
• Overseeing the annual review of the reserving approached adopted board
• Reporting on quarterly reserving results at committee meetings
• Producing reserves in line with Lloyd's requirements

The role will also include some capital modelling and pricing with the opportunity to :

• Working with the EM team on CAT modelling output : LCM reporting, Risk Appetite metrics and reinsurance testing
• Helping to update the internal model and assist in the validation process
• Underwriting and claims analysis to identify emerging trends
• Reviewing pricing and underwriting tools and recommending changes
