We are seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining web applications, a strong understanding of the Ruby on Rails framework, and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain modern and competitive.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Proficient understanding of version control tools, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of other back-end languages, such as Python or Node.js.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
