Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Lead Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our customers. Your role will involve supervising and leading a team of Senior Care Assistants, ensuring that care plans are followed, and maintaining effective communication with customers, families, and staff.
Duties:
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Care Assistants and Senior Care assistants
- Assist with the development and implementation of care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to customers
- Administer medication and assist with personal care tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of customers
- Oversee the staffing rota and make changes as and when required
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Utilize IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes
- Development and support of staffing team.
- Assist in the on call rota system.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Senior Care or similar role
- Strong leadership skills.
- Knowledge of care regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy
- Proficient in using IT systems for documentation purposes

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
