iO Associates have partnered with a leading technology & engineering company working within National Security and Defence consulting, developing novel products that solve real world problems in mission-critical environments.
We are looking to speak to experienced Software Engineers holding at minimum an SC clearance who would like to join our client at an exciting time of growth.
As a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll be maintaining a crucial national security application through ongoing development in Python and/or C++. You’ll not only be involved in developing the software but also work on the platform and application elements and have the opportunity to work with Linux and platform capabilities.
The successful candidate will be confident working autonomously in Python and/or C++, and have knowledge of IP networking.
In return, you will get the opportunity to join a rapidly growing National Security consultancy, who aim to solve complex problems within Intelligence & Defence.
What you’ll be doing:
• Sustaining a critical National Security application, which has an established code base in Python & C++.
• Work with customer technical teams to understand evolving requirements to develop the product further.
• Providing technical consultancy and training internally and, when required, externally.
What you will need:
• Python / C++ proficiency
• Linux – Red Hat, Centos or Rocky
• IP Networking & any further networking knowledge
• Java
• SC Clearance
