A hugely successful business is currently on the lookout for Lead Software Engineers (C#, ASP.Net Core, SQL) to come in and join their well-established yet growing team working on their customer facing website, internal systems and customer portal. This role is perfect for an experienced Lead Software Engineer / Senior Developer looking to join a highly successful company who have won several awards for being such a great place to work.
The Role
As a Lead Software Engineer (C#, ASP.Net Core, SQL) you will be focusing on working on developing internal and external facing systems. As part of the role, you will be developing and implementing responsive websites and micro-service-based solutions. The role will be 75% hands on development and 25% management of a small squad of 3 - 4 Developers and a QA Engineer.
As well as new projects, they are currently maintaining and enhancing their existing portfolio of software applications ensuring a high-quality experience to their thousands of users. They have an overall development team of 30+ plus teams including, BAs, QAs, DBAs etc. Working with the latest technologies on large, essential projects, this role is for a technically capable, driven and ambitious software developer.
Software Engineer role requirements:
- Experienced with ASP.Net Core, C#
- SQL Server / Entity Framework
- Azure DevOps
Any experience in the following will be highly beneficial:
- Microservices
- Azure
- Kubernetes, Docker

This role is mostly remote - you will only be required in office for team meetings once every 2 weeks.
