Lead Structural Engineer

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Lead Structural Engineer you will:

* Provide steel weight estimates and concept designs in full accordance with project specifications
* Work as a team member dedicated to fulfilling the design requirements of the projects
* Structural design of �multi-million projects
* Preparation of clear design specifications
* Ensure drawings and structural calculations and analyses from colleagues and sub-vendors
* Assist in the development of STAAD, SAP2000, other 3D CAD systems
* Communicate with sub-contractors regarding contracted-out structural design work

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

� HND / Degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experiences

� Experienced in 3D analysis

� Knowledge of STAAD essential

� Background in large scale capital construction projects

Personal skills

The Lead Structural Engineer role would suit someone who is:

� Analytical and technical problem-solving skills with high level of detail

� Good communication skills with experience in communicating with international clients and suppliers

� Knowledge of Tekla, SAP2000, Caesar and SolidWorks
