We currently have an opportunity for a Lead Teacher of Maths to join our fantastic team at CHS South. This is a permanent, full time role starting in September 2024.

Main purpose of the job:

 

In addition to those professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, the post holder’s key responsibilities will be for supporting the Curriculum Leader in raising the standards of teaching, learning and student achievement in the subject area for all students attending the school.

The post holder will also deputise for the Curriculum Leader when necessary and will take responsibility for areas of departmental work as agreed with the Curriculum Leader and Senior Leader.
