We’re currently partnered with one of our clients based in Liverpool who are looking for a Lead Test Analyst to join their growing team. The business are going through an exciting period of growth and have a great reputation within their industry. 2023 has been an exciting year for their technology HQ, with several new roles created across tech leadership and increased headcount throughout their teams.

They are now looking for a Lead Test Analyst to help establish a Test Function within the business and the role will support the development of a robust testing framework and you’ll be responsible for defining test strategies.

The role will cover all new or changed products and services within the business and you’ll be involved in designing the tests in conjunction with subject matter experts.

What will you be doing:

• Define project testing strategies whilst planning and coordinating reports on testing activities for all projects
• Develop and implement test strategies and plans for a portfolio of applications
• Ensure that applications and products are comprehensively tested and are introduced into the live environment with minimal defects
• Implement best practices across testing
• Maintain regular reports to the management team and internal stakeholders
• Work closely with the team to design testing environments and take responsibility for ensuring those environments are maintained to ensure optimum testing
• Be responsible for the end-to-end testing of products and services in terms of function and user experience
• Help to support and mentor junior members of the team

What are we looking for:

• End to end software development lifecycle and project lifecycle knowledge
• Strong understanding of Test methodologies, tools and best practices
• Experience of helping mentor and coach team members
• ISTQB qualification would be desirable
• Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with senior management
