SalaryWe are looking for an experienced UI developer with core experience of either React or Angular (or both) frameworks.
This opportunity would be full-time and onsite with one of our financial services clients in Glasgow. The key project currently taking place is a re-engineering of a platform. This is focussing on scale and ultimately driving wider adoption across the department. There is a consolidation of UIs and a push from the business to build dashboards that help them to make key decisions. Consolidation of UIs involves building a framework to stitch UIs together.
A solution is also needed to enable user-specific dashboards to be built. The design and layout should be such that users are heavily involved from the outset and a framework for this either needs to be built or on-boarded. An individual that can build PoCs quickly to help evaluate options is highly desirable.
We are looking for someone who can identify wins, improvements, efficiencies and help the team to drive opportunities to improve forwards. This is not a role for a developer who wants to develop in isolation. The successful applicant will be able to build relationships with key business stakeholders and end users. Strong stakeholder management, relationship building and communication skills are essential for this role. Alongside this, knowing how to build a UI framework and then with scale is highly important, doing so in conjunction with the business stakeholders to ensure adoption of the technology.
The role presents the opportunity to become a leader in driving UI change and adoption for a critical part of the firms business and a long-term leadership role within the firm.
